Lava Dash
Type: Indoor Digital Sports
Location: Kuantan, Malaysia
Lava Dash, the digital sports center in Kuantan's historic Hock Bee building, is a visionary project that redefines the intersection of fitness, fun, and social activities. Designed by JUJURWORK, the space reflects the firm's dedication to crafting environments that are both iconic and strategically aligned with brand identity.
At its core is an undulating ceiling crafted from 720 CNC-cut colored PVC sheets. Each piece is meticulously cut, numbered, and sorted before being suspended on a steel mesh grid using custom clips, a fabrication process that marries cutting-edge automation with manual precision. This dynamic installation creates a visual centerpiece that captures the brand’s spirit of innovation and energy.
JUJURWORK’s design process extends beyond aesthetics, playing a pivotal role in shaping the Lava Dash brand. By integrating playfulness with functionality, the firm has created an environment that not only captivates visitors but also supports the brand's business objectives. The open layout, adorned with whimsical cloud-shaped benches and colorful PVC curtains, fosters an inviting atmosphere conducive to socializing and exploration.
The business-forward approach is woven into every aspect of the design. The space is engineered to attract diverse demographics, encouraging extended visits and offering opportunities for revenue generation through activities, events, and collaborations.
Through its thoughtful and strategic design, JUJURWORK has transformed Lava Dash into not just a destination but a lifestyle experience, where fitness and community thrive. This project exemplifies how innovative design can shape brand identity, enhance customer engagement, and create a lasting impact within the community.
